Ingredients
1
Medium onion
chopped (about 1 cup) – use whatever variety you have!

Can of tomato sauce

Broth
I used homemade chicken bone broth

Can of tomato paste
1 1/2
tbsp
Dried basil

Turmeric

tsp
Pink salt

tbsp
Minced garlic
Dried or fresh

Black pepper
Instructions
Add all of your ingredients to the Instant Pot.
Attach the lid, turn the valve to seal, and set the timer for 5 minutes (High Pressure.)
When the timer goes off, turn the valve to vent, and do a Quick Release of the pressure.
Remove the lid.
Puree the soup with an immersion blender or add it to your countertop blender until it is completely smooth.

Recipe Notes
Stovetop Method:
In a soup pot, saute diced onions in 2 tbsp of oil or butter/ghee until they are soft and translucent.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Puree the soup with an immersion blender or use a countertop mixer/large food processor.
